ps. God blessed my socks off today. Like He’s so ridiculously good. And He meets not only the needs of His children, but even their desires. Woah. That’s pretty legit, given that according to 1 corinthians 10:25, the earth is the Lord’s and so is everything in it.

(summary as i see it: each man described willingly , even joyfully, gave everything because having the treasure was greater than having everything else.
Jesus is our treasure.

There is no question but that God’s people can look for and expect leadings, guidance, indications of what they are meant to do. Men have been told by the Holy spirit to do something; they knew it was the Holy Spirit speaking to them and it transpired that it obviously was His leading. It seems clear to me that if we deny such a possibility we are again quenching the Holy Spirit…The ways in which the blessings come are almost endless.
