Hey everyone! I don’t have much time but I am so in love with yellowstone. we toured the park yesterday and it was so incredible. like God must have been feeling particularly creative when He made yellowstone. there’s a verse in psalms that says the mountains melt like wax before the Lord, and thinking about that and looking at these incredible mountains in unbelievable. that’s it for now but heres the thing. God’s going to do something huge. love, lauren

hey everyone!
we made it to illinois.
and guess who navigated?
that would be me. you should be very impressed. and only two missed turns. once because God is awesome and took us straight to walmart b/c we really needed bungee cords and once because there was no road sign for the highway we needed. (someone should talk to those DOT people…)
anyway, we are now safe and sound in illinois. tomorrow we are leaving here at 7 to meet the 3 guys in st louis and then we are all going to sioux falls and tent camping in some guys yard that night. i think that’s about 10-11 hours of driving.

Apparently I’m not very good at keeping up with blogs.
I’m much better at journaling on paper.
And I don’t know what kind of computer access I am going to have this summer, bue I will try to update when I can. If you post your address, I’ll send a postcard. 
So it’s like 3:15 am and I am almost done packing. Tomorrow morning I am meeting one of the girls on my team and we’re driving to Illinois to meet another girl. Then Monday morning we are meeting up with three of the guys in St. Louis and we are all driving out to Sioux Falls. The next day we are going through the Badlands and staying at Mount Rushmore, and hopefully tent camping at the base. Then, we are driving to West Yellowstone the next day. Between Sunday and Wednesaday, we are driving about 35 hours. We’ll get out a day early to pick others up at the airport. I am so stoked and I can’t wait to get out there.
